Expectations When Working With Our Clients

As such, to ensure a seamless experience for everyone when interacting with our clients, we have outlined the following guidelines:


Remote Consultations
- Answer truthfully and accurately during the initial exchange with our team to ensure you will be a good fit for our client.
- Speak slowly, clearly and answer concisely.Try to answer in 2-3 minutes to allow the client to ask follow up questions.
- Expect to be interrupted – the client is not being impolite, but instead, trying to be efficient and get through all of their remaining questions.
- Speak in a polite manner, avoid swearing or other colloquial language as it may come across as unprofessional.
- Do not participate while driving or in a loud environment – you may need access to a computer or webcam for some phone consultations.
- Give your best estimate. Avoid answering “I don’t know”. The client values your input and your estimate is better than no input at all.
- Be fully focused and present during the interview.

Surveys
- Take your time and answer thoughtfully and precisely. Most surveys have quality controls in place that terminate respondents for speeding through questions too quickly.
- Write coherent sentences for “open ended” questions. Most surveys have quality controls in place that terminate respondents for writing “gibberish” answers.
- Answer questions with specific choices or give your best estimate rather than answering “I don’t know”. Most clients look for specific answers and may terminate respondents who select vague responses.


How Do You Get Paid?

Remote Consultations
Prior to the consultation, professionals receive a sign up link where they enter their preferred payment method

Surveys
Upon survey completion, professionals choose their preferred payment method (dependent on country)

Payment Processing
Processing times can vary between 10-15 business days, depending on project type and payment method

Payment Confirmations
Project and payment confirmations are sent via email. Make sure to check your spam folder just in case!

NewtonX is fully committed to pay each and every professional who participated in a project. NewtonX works with the most professional clients and as such relies on its strong reputation. There are many reasons why a payment might not arrive in time: payment confirmation lands in spam folder, email address was incorrect, payment information were incorrect, a PayPal payment wasn’t claimed, etc. – if you do not receive your payment in time PLEASE simply contact us at payments@newtonx.com and we will rectify the situation right away. It is never our intent not to pay you for your time.
